In the sea of singer-songwriters, Jodi Heights stands out with her classically-honed technique and her brilliant lyrics that plumb the depths of everyday life. She holds multiple degrees in music, including a Master of Music from New England Conservatory.
So far this year, Jodi has released three singles from her night-themed album Nocturne and an official music video for the song "Full Moon Rise". Recorded by Grammy-nominated engineer John Weston at Futura Productions, the Nocturne album will be available in Dolby Atmos, a spatial audio technology for immersive sound. In addition to the album, Heights has also crafted and produced a special edition Nocturnal Journal, offering writers a space to explore their relationship with night through thought-provoking prompts. The journal showcases artwork inspired by the album. Purchase the Nocturnal Journal here.
In 2022 & 2023, Jodi worked with three incredible engineers to release six songs: the single "White Knight", a 3-song EP called Triptych (Cairo Marques-Neto), the single "Aurora" on Celtic harp (John Weston), and the single "Fine Wine" (Mike Abiuso). She also worked with videographer Noah Dickinson to create her first two music videos for "Fine Wine" and "The Iceberg".
Jodi's debut album, One Year Wiser, was recorded with engineer Mike Davidson at Plaid Dog Recording, mixed by engineer Erich Talaba (Sara Bareilles - What's Inside: Songs from Waitress, Kaleidoscope Heart), and mastered by Adam Ayan (Sarah McLachlan - Wonderland, Fumbling Towards Ecstasy, Mirrorball, Laws of Illusion).
